Parking is available at various locations in the park, including the Field #1 parking lot, as space allows.
You may arrive at any time, but most people arrive 1-2 hours prior to show time.
Lawn chairs are allowed in the designated areas.

BACKGROUND
A Citizen's Committee, in collaboration with the Park, Recreation and Open Space Commission and the Walnut Creek Arts, Recreation & Community Service Department, held its first "Movies Under the Stars" showing on May 10, 2003 with two additional movies later that summer. Walnut Creek's newest family event was a HUGE success.
1. An average of over 2,500 people attended each movie.
2. Both families and teens enjoyed a picnic and a movie.
3. Most often asked question - "When is the next movie?"
4. The Committee is already working on future film showings.
Our plan continues to be to offer this wonderful evening of entertainment to the residents of Walnut Creek and neighboring communities. The event will be free of charge, although donations will be accepted.
